River Valley Capital Corporation (“River Valley Capital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides commercial equipment financing. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit rivervalleycapital.com (the “Site”) or contact us.
Information you provide. When you submit a form on the Site — for example, to request a callback or send us a message — we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message, along with the page from which you submitted the form. We also collect information you provide when you call or email us directly.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we collect usage information such as the pages you visit, the links you click, and your device and browser type. This information is collected directly by us using first-party cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies & Analytics” below); it is not shared with third-party analytics or advertising companies. Our web servers also keep standard logs, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.
If you provide your mobile phone number to us, you agree that River Valley Capital may send you text messages at that number. Text messages may include responses to your inquiry, information about equipment financing options, follow-ups from our team, and updates about the status of an application or account.
No mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
Advertising partners. We also share limited contact information — your email address and/or phone number, in hashed (irreversibly encoded) form — with advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram). These platforms use it only to match against their own accounts so we can (a) measure our advertising and (b) reach our customers, and businesses with similar profiles, with relevant financing offers. They cannot recover the original values and may not use them for their own purposes. To opt out, contact us at sales@rivervalleycapital.com or 563-500-2226 and we will exclude your information.
We measure how visitors use the Site with our own first-party analytics — we do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party tracking services on this site, and site usage data is not shared with third parties. Separately from site analytics, we may share hashed contact information with advertising platforms as described in “How We Share Information” above. To understand aggregate usage, the Site stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser (in a cookie and local storage) that expires after 90 days of inactivity. It is not linked to your name or contact information unless you submit a form. You can limit or delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings; the Site remains usable with cookies disabled.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to service our business relationship with you, and to meet legal and regulatory requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our services are directed to businesses. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
